How are these machines checked and prepared?
The machines are tested, reboxed and warranted by Ambit Technologies, replacing any parts as necessary with original components and ensuring that the units are in AS NEW CONDITION.

What warranty and support do you get?

The 1 year warranty on these units is provided by Ambit Technologies. Desktop computers have an onsite warranty whilst laptops have a return to base. The service provided with these warranties is reliable, quick and efficient. Ambit Technologies consistently provide an excellent warranty service, year after year. Should you experience a hardware failure - the turnaround time for all faults is extremely quick (usually 1 - 3 days from receipt of your machine), probably because Ambit Technologies have all the technical expertise and parts required in-house. You won’t have to mess around with long phone queues and expensive lines either. The returns rate (percentage of machines that need to be returned) is only around 1 in 50, but it's comforting to know that when you do need help you'll get it and fast. Ambit Technologies appreciate that these days; most users are heavily reliant on their computers and struggle to be without them for than a few days.

Laptops - Reconditioned
Reconditioned computers that are too cheap...

Reconditioned laptops are often cheap, for obvious reasons. However, the term reconditioned can refer to hugely variable range of qualities. A lot of stock that is offered by some resellers as reconditioned or refurbished is in fact a complete load of rubbish - buy one of these and you'll be potentially setting yourself up for a big head-ache.

We only sell refurbished units of the highest quality (Grade A). All our units are prepared and inspected by a man- ufacturer approved refurbisher, required to meet stringent quality standards. Typically these machines have been used by a large corporate customer before being professionally refurbished. The overall condition of these mach- ines are the best available on the market - realistically you should expect light cosmetic wear and tear and the screen may have 1-3 pixel faults .
